How do you tell if it is the battery?

- The car starts fine after a jump but fails again the next morning

What are the signs of a bad alternator?
The alternator recharges the battery and powers the electrical system while the engine runs. When it fails, the car runs on battery power until the battery is drained. Watch for:

- Power windows, radio or other accessories acting up

A new battery will not fix a bad alternator. It will just drain again.
